About The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to work in Year 2 and Year 4 with pupils who have special educational needs.Part of this position will be to join a team of Teaching assistants who have a joint role in the support and stimulation of pupils with communication and interaction difficulties so good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team is vital.
The position will include working closely with the SENDCo and Teaching team to provide support and stimulation for our pupils with addition and special educational needs. The role will include working alongside other team members to good communication skills are vital.
About You:
We are looking for a self-motivated, caring and dedicated adult who will take a pro-active role in the support of the education and social and emotional development of our pupils.
Ideally you will have previous experience of working with SEN pupils and have knowledge of the use of visuals to support communication and an understanding of sensory needs.
The post will require supporting vulnerable pupils with self-care e.g. toileting, changing
