About The Role:
Cape Cornwall School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Food Preparation & Nutrition and/or Design Technology to join our STEAM Faculty. Applications are invited from candidates who have the skills, experience and dedication to join our highly-motivated and dedicated team. Once the appointment has been made, we will finalise the timetable across both subjects. Our aim is to ensure high achievement and progress for all through our outstanding curriculum and high quality teaching.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Teaching KS3 and KS4 Food Preparation & Nutrition and/or Design Technology to ensure excellent progress and outcomes for every child;Ensuring highly effective assessment and intervention to enable all students to achieve the very best, whatever their starting points.
Supporting students’ personal development in the role of tutor and through delivery of the pastoral programme.
You will share our commitment to excellence, inclusion and aspiration for every student and will be determined to ensure the very best outcomes for children. You will also work in partnership with colleagues within Truro and Penwith Academy Trust Schools. This post would be suitable for ECTs who would receive a full induction programme.
