About The Role:
Truro and Penwith Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an Education Welfare Officer to ensure that all schools are adhering to the Trust’s tiered response to target pupils with poor attendance, providing direct support to headteachers and pastoral teams to ensure that all barriers to pupil’s attendance are considered, supported and resolved through successful pupil support plans and/or statutory intervention. This is a key role where strong communication and organisational skills will be key to ensuring strong relationships are built with a range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
