About The Role:
Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, are looking to appoint a skilled and committed Site Operative (Mobile) to ensure TPAT meets its duties for health & safety compliance and security, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for staff, pupils/students and visitors. The position will undertake general maintenance of TPAT buildings and facilities across our schools, ensuring routine maintenance and minor refurbishment of premises and fixtures and fittings, alongside maintaining records and completing paperwork as required. It’s a busy role; candidates will be required to have strong DIY skills and an ability to solve problems efficiently.
About You:
We are looking to hear from candidates who can demonstrate the following.
· Level 2 NVQ in a recognised trade or GCSE’s level qualifications plus suitable trade certificates.
· Basic Health & Safety qualification.
· Good standard of practical knowledge, skills and experience of building and grounds maintenance work.
· Strong communication skills
