About The Role:
Thank you for showing an interest in applying for a position at our school. Welcome to Kennall Vale School – a small village Primary school serving Ponsanooth near Truro. We are on the A393 Redruth – Falmouth road, close to the Kennall Vale Nature reserve, a picturesque river valley containing the remains of Kennall Vale Gunpowder Works. Kennall Vale School opened in new, purpose built premises in 1993 and, since then, has been extended and completely refurbished. The school has 5 classrooms, and at present 132 pupils on roll organised into mixed-age classes.
Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with the Local Monitoring Committee of Kennall Vale School, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed Class Teacher to work as part of our team. You will demonstrate a commitment to remaining abreast of advances in research and practice within primary education and to upholding our school values.
