About The Role:
TPAT is seeking to appoint a Careers Lead for KS2- KS5. Expressions of interest are invited from senior leaders with experience of leading careers education, information, advice and guidance. Applicants must have track record of successful leadership of careers education provision and experience of line managing careers advisors. In addition, applicants need knowledge and expertise in using online Careers resources including Compass+.
This is a part time role (25 days per year), to be worked alongside existing school leadership responsibilities. Applicants must ensure they have their Headteachers support prior to expressing an interest.

About You:
You will have a good comprehensive knowledge of the current careers education landscape, including legislation, guidance and best practices in the UK. The successful candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of further and higher education pathways, vocational training options and the labour market alongside understanding of the Gatsby Benchmarks and their application within a school or college setting. A good knowledge of relevant online careers resources and platforms would be beneficial to the role.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and engage with students.
