Salary: £12,053 Per Annum

About The Role:
Perranporth Community Primary School is an ambitious and caring school always striving to provide the very best in teaching and learning for all our pupils.
We are looking to appoint an excellent SEND Teaching Assistant to join our happy and committed team. We are looking for a very special person with commitment, energy and initiative to work closely with our teaching staff and to provide positive learning experiences to a SEND pupil in EYFS. The role will be principally based in EYFS/KS1 but may also involve supporting teaching and learning opportunities throughout the school.
You will complement the work of the Class Teacher, by taking responsibility for the support and delivery of an agreed curriculum for the SEND pupil, but also support in other classes as required.
At times, this role may involve the planning, preparation and delivery of learning to groups/classes where the teacher is not present.
About You:
We expect the successful candidate to:
· To meet TA standards or hold equivalent skills, expertise or experience
· Be able to support and deliver high quality learning experiences for SEND and other pupils
· Have skills in English and Maths - sufficient to advance pupils' learning
· Have high expectations of learning and behaviour and inspire and motivate our children with a nurturing and supportive approach
· Understand how children, particularly those with SEN, learn
· Be happy to work as part of a team
· Be flexible and have the ability to use initiative
