About You:
Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with the Local Monitoring Committee of Liskeard Hillfort Primary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated classroom teacher to join our supportive team to teach one of our Year 3 classes. In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to foster a love of learning in our pupils, creating an engaging and dynamic classroom environment. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who are enthusiastic about promoting healthy lifestyles and integrating outdoor learning into their practice, making use of our fantastic school grounds and local area to provide enriching experiences for our children. You'll play a vital part in nurturing well-rounded individuals, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
About This Role:
At Hillfort Primary School, we aim to provide a positive learning experience for every child, through an exciting and engaging curriculum which will inspire children, foster their independence and develop resilience. We promote active and healthy lifestyles, and have a wonderful outdoor area that we are constantly improving to give our children a broad range of opportunities.

The school currently has 388 children on roll.
Hillfort Primary School is located in the bustling town of Liskeard, 8 miles from Looe and 18 miles from Plymouth. Liskeard has superb transport links, on the A38 and with great access to the main trainline to Plymouth in the East and Penzance in the West. The school caters for children between the ages of 4 – 11. Our school enjoys working collaboratively both locally and also with our partner schools within the Trust.
