St Dennis Academy - Pastoral Support

This is an exciting opportunity to join our happy and thriving village school.   From January 2023, we are seeking to appoint an inspiring, positive, highly motivated and committed Specialist Pastoral Support Worker to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team.

At St Dennis Primary Academy, the children are at the very heart of all we do, and we work to ensure that ‘everyone matters, everyone succeeds and every moment counts’.

This position will include working with parents by delivering training and leading meetings, co-ordinating attendance and taking on a lead role with safeguarding across the school. It will also include working with children with different needs one-to-one and in small group interventions to contribute to the overall health and well-being of children. Experience of dealing with children that may have social and emotional needs and an understanding of the needs of these children would be an advantage.  

The successful candidate will:

  •          Work with the Headteacher and leadership team to implement the strategic vision.

  •          Be willing to lead training and meetings. 
  •          Demonstrate the ability to work proactively as part of a team with a ‘can do’ positive attitude to meet the needs of every child.
