About the Role:
Blackwater Community Primary School are are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work alongside colleagues in Wheal Harmony (Year 1 and 2 class), to support the needs of a pupil with an EHCP.
You will need to be pro-active in this role, supporting the educational, emotional and physical needs of this pupil. We are looking for someone who has experience and is self-motivated that can work alongside the class teacher, class teaching assistants and SENCo to make sure that the pupil is supported to access the curriculum.
About You:
We are looking for someone who can buy into our school vision and also work effectively as part of the team. You will be able to assist individuals in developing knowledge, skills and attitudes as defined by the curriculum. You will be able to monitor the pupil's response to the learning activities, and where appropriate, modify or adapt the activities as agreed with the teacher to achieve the intended learning outcome.
